CONCEPT DESIGN

The concept design phase of work transfers the information gathered during the Project Establishment stage to a drawn from studying high-level matters such as building bulk, location, shape, early building planning consideration etc. Once completed, we will organise a meeting with the client and ask for their opinion on the concept design so far. After this phase, a draft budget may be obtained from a Quantity Surveyor or through early contractor engagement. On some projects, this phase will be amalgamated within the Preliminary Design Phase. While this work is completed, it may not be seen as a set of deliverables standing alone. During the phase, we will establish the council requirement of the site and utilise geotechnical tests, site surveys and consult with a planner if required.
